Core Values Community: I am committed to let others into my life and to live new covenant community myself. By definition I can’t do this alone. I need others to pray with, dialogue with, and to give me feedback. Focus: I am committed to focus on the North Star of my message and to minimize other “ministry” distractions. Family: I am committed to be faithful to my family and their needs. Speaking: I am committed to strategically speak to those who are open to my message. Space: I need regular soul restoration time in my life to hear from God and to contemplate what I hear Him saying. Impact: I want my message to have the broadest and deepest impact possible. Movement: I want to energize a movement through my message, not build an organizational monument. I believe God has called me to help begin a revolution in the way Christians understand sanctification, in the way churches go about their business, and in the way counselors and therapists do their work. “When someone is hurting, it’s good to find someone from whom you can borrow faith.” |
